que el astrónomo griego Thales de Mileto describiera en 600 A.D.
como el Ala del Dragón, Alae Dracontis.
Curiosamente, algunas tribus de América del Norte como
Angolquin y Narraganset llamaban a este grupo Okuari o Paukunawa,
palabra para "oso".

El Diamante representa su estrella más brillante y notoria,
Polaris, la Estrella del Norte, la cual sirvió de guía
a las civilizaciones desde hace unos 3000 años.

This Piece was conceived with as a particular gift in mind.
Underneath the Ursa Minor (Little Bear) constellation can be seen,
which was described as the Dragon's Wing, Alae Dracontis,
by the greek astronomer Thales de Mileto about 600 years b.c.
Oddly enough, some native tribes from North America,
as the Angolquin y Narraganset called this group Okuari or Paukunawa,
which means "bear".

The Diamond represent Polaris, the Northern Light,
its most evident and its brightest star, which served as a guide
for any civilization since 3,000 years.

Tren a Vapor / Steam Train

Primero que todo, algo de historia.
En Sudáfrica hay un tren a vapor (de carbón),
el Outeniqua Choo Tjoe Train ,
(entre las máquinas, un S.A.R. class 24 2-8-4) ,
que aún realiza el trayecto Knysna-George en el Garden Route,
sobre la costa, recorriendo paisajes increíbles,
y tuve la suerte de poder viajar en él.

First of all, a bit of history.
In South Africa there is a steam (coal) train,

El Engarce por Tensión / The Tension Setting

El engarce por tensión es cuando el cuerpo del anillo sostiene la piedra firmemente con la tensión dada por el mismo metal. Para lograr esto este metal debe trabajarse hasta que adquiera propiedades de rigidez, sin embargo conservando algo de elasticidad para permitir a la piedra alojarse en los asientos hechos de acuerdo al corte de la misma. La cantidad de tensión dada es fundamental para inmovilizar la piedra, siempre y cuando se tenga en cuenta su dureza, exfoliación y tipo de fractura que cada mineral posee, además del estudio de sus características particulares, por ejemplo, inclusiones, fallas, etc.
De esta manera también la piedra recibe luz de casi todos lados.

The tension setting is when the body of the ring holds the stone firmly by the tension provided by the metal itself. To accomplish this, the metal must be worked until it acquires stiffness properties, but retaining some elasticity to allow the stone to stay in their seats according to its cut. The amount of tension given is essential to immobilize the stone, not unless one is aware of its hardness, cleavage and fracture type of each mineral possesses, besides its particular characteristics, for example, inclusions, flaws, etc.
Thus, the gemstone is hit by light from almost everywhere
